Note: Many of the DC reprints of the 70s have been altered from their original appearance. Art has been added to a strip of panels per page so that the printed page is larger. That was done so that the reprints have the same size as the new art in the book. I have marked these alterations „stretched“. If you’re looking for a cheap alternative to the somewhat expensive originals, be aware of the inferior quality of these reprints.

Identifying the artist for unsigned comic stories isn’t without difficulty. Over the years various reference works have mistakenly listed comics as having art by Alex Toth. Following is a list of those comics:
This is in Jim V.'s Index. He lists the story „Web of Heartbreak“ as Toth. I strongly disagree
This is in the Overstreet as having a Toth cover. I looks more like Infantino, though.
No Toth in this issue and the cover is very questionable.
Toth did not do any covers for HEROIC. All covers that are signed ‘AT’ are by an artist named Al Thompson. They are not Alex Toth @
"Just My Type" not by Toth @. Probably by Sekowski
Jim V. has this in his index as having Toth art on "His Other
Love". That is very unlikely.
The story >His Other Love< has been reprinted in HEART THROBS #131
Highly unlikely.
The only Casey Ruggles that Toth worked on was Aquila @
These used to be in in Jim V.'s Index . No Toth @
